More than a thousand lost and abandoned dogs and cat pass through the SEAWL doors each year.
As a not-for-profit organisation, which receives no government funding, this means we are left with a fairly large food bill. You can help by donating dry and wet dog and cat food, as well as cat litter, for the animals in our care. Simply drop off your donations directly to SEAWL or one of SEAWL donations points listed below:
Woolworths, Commercial St East
Woolworths, Mount Gambier Marketplace
Big W, Mount Gambier Marketplace
South East Pet Supplies, Mount Gambier
South East Pet Supplies has also generously offered to sell dry dog and cat food and kitty litter at cost price to SEAWL supporters. Simply inform staff that the items you’re purchasing are for the SEAWL to receive the discount. All donated items will be held instore for a weekly collection by SEAWL volunteers.
The SEAWL appreciates all donations – big or small – and is thankful to Woolworths, Big W, South East Pet Supplies and IGA Millicent for their generous support.
*The SEAWL also accepts donations of bedding (we do not take pillows, with the exception of flat cushions for the cattery), which can be dropped off at the shelter during opening hours or a MyPod Podiatry in Mount Gambier.
